Golden Gallopers - Windermere

After taking several shots of this as it was just getting dark I was finding this shot had potential but that I couldn't tease it out. Not contrasty or vivid enough. I went back later and took a shot full auto and was really cross that it came out better than the work I had put in earlier.

I resolved to try again and this time I got the colours, sharpness and exposure I was after. What do you think?
